What my clients say:
‘Late 2017 I decided that I want to start doing triathlons 2018, not knowing much about them and being a couch potato made it daunting. Oswald Kydd is part of my cycling club and I met with him, to discuss what triathlons are all about, how to start and what to consider, from a time, dedication and cost perspective. Oswald’s knowledge is amazing, I would want to risk to say there is nothing that he does not know when it comes to triathlons. Oswald guided me to buy the best “entry level” bicycle, setting it up, getting all the gear and equipment needed. Oswald became my coach and in all honesty this has been the best decision that I have ever made. As a coach you can expect Oswald to be strict and consistent. Oswald is remarkable when it comes to technology, tracking your progress online, individually honing in on your performance, suggesting tweaks and changes based on your actual performance or sometimes lack thereof. With Oswald being my coach I completed my first Olympic distance triathlon in March, followed by my second one in May and my first half Ironman in June. Thereafter the bug bit me and we started focussing our efforts, time and training on preparing for the big one, something which I thought would never be possible, full Ironman. In between I completed a couple of Olympic distance Ironman events and another half. In April 2019 I completed my full Ironman event. Fell ill shortly after my most recent half Ironman in June 2019, as a result could not train for about 3 months. Oswald was patient, adjusted my training program to start building my fitness levels back up, taking careful note of my stats and making the needed tweaks and changes. Race prep, race anxieties, easy. Have coffee with Oswald and he will talk you through the race to the finest detail, he knows each course, transition, things that you should do, things that you should avoid. On race day, Oswald checks in, supports technologically and always checks progress when it is big events with tracking ability. In summary, Oswald is reliable, good at what he does, has got a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is really one of the best coaches that I have come across or heard of.’

‘Oswald coached and mentored me from an unstructured and overweight athlete to an Ironman finisher. During this journey he was always there to give advice and guidance. He motivated and encouraged me when it was needed. His years of experience showed in the advice he gave me. My first Ironman Durban 70.3 I finished in 6:03:49 (140th in my age group). We continued working together and training hard to my second Ironman 70.3 Durban which I completed in 5:27:12 (47th in my age group).’
